What the install will include

Luanode's desktop install bundles the Roblox Studio plugin together with the editor. One installer, one click — no separate plugin marketplace download, no manual file copies.

• Editor — the visual scripting desktop app. Runs natively on your OS.
• Studio plugin (.rbxmx) — copied automatically into your Roblox Plugins folder by the installer.
• Local telemetry bridge — a small HTTP listener on 127.0.0.1:7777 that pipes live data between Studio and the editor. Stays on your machine — no external network traffic.

Planned system requirements

• OS: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, or Linux x86_64 with GTK 3.
• RAM: 2 GB minimum, 4 GB comfortable.
• Disk: ~200 MB.
• Roblox Studio: any recent version (we don't depend on Studio betas).
• HTTP Requests enabled in your place's Game Settings, so the plugin can reach the desktop bridge. One-time toggle.

Privacy

Luanode is designed to run 100% on your machine — no phone-home, no editor telemetry sent to us, no project data leaves your computer. The "telemetry" feature is between your Studio and your desktop only; nothing leaves localhost.

The only external traffic is when you choose to join the waitlist: in that case your email is stored on our Hostinger server, used to notify you when builds are ready, and deleted on request to Support@luanode.com.

Pricing

Luanode is a paid tool. We're finalising the exact tiers now — expect a one-time purchase with optional add-ons for studios. Waitlist members get a discount on launch day.
